Our New Office at Bell Works

Sep 06, 2016

We are excited to announce our new corporate location at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ. With decades of history and inspiration flowing throughout the building, Bell Works is more than just a workspace. Named “The Biggest Mirror Ever” by Architectural Forum, Bell Works offers two million square feet of office and laboratory space. As you enter Bell Laboratories road, a 60-foot water tower in the shape of a transistor stands tall.

Since 1962, innovative minds at Bell Works (formerly known as Bell Labs) have designed some of the most influential technology of the twentieth century. Eight Nobel Prizes were won for inventions developed at Bell Works, including: the telephotograph machine, long distance television, the first transatlantic telephone cable, cosmic radio waves, the transistor, a binary digital computer and microwave tower stations.

ETHERFAX is proud to walk in the halls which were home to so many scientists responsible for starting a technology revolution. Ironically, the first fax machine was built at Bell Works by the AT&T Corporation and Western Electric in 1924. It was here that scientists discovered a new process of transmitting pictures through electricity and the telephone.

We are excited to see Bell Works’ evolution firsthand as the building undergoes a $200 million renovation over the next few years. Working within the hub of innovation is inspiring, especially as we advance the next generation of secure document transport solutions.
