One Step Closer to PCI-DSS Level 1 Certification

Last month ETHERFAX started the process of achieving PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 certification in order to further validate our multi-level encryption and security capabilities that safeguards your business-critical fax operations. PCI-DSS requires that we build and maintain a secure network, assess vulnerabilities, and regularly monitor and test all networks and information security policy.

Following the self-assessment, we engaged TrustWave to help verify that ETHERFAX’s technical infrastructure adheres to the appropriate guidelines for secure fax transmission.

Trustwave is the leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance management solutions to businesses and organizations throughout the world. They help organizations of all sizes manage compliance and secure their network infrastructure, data communications and critical information assets.

PCI-DSS Level I is the highest level of achievement and requires a stringent process to validate. A two-part assessment, which includes Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) will determine our PCI compliance. We will keep you apprised of our progress.
