Monitoring Hurricane Joaquin

Oct 01, 2015

With Hurricane Joaquin approaching, we at ETHERFAX wanted to make you aware of the preparations and continuity plans that have been put into place.

ETHERFAX’s primary data center is located in an Equinix IBX facility, 80 feet above sea level. This facility remained up throughout Hurricane Sandy in 2012. In the unlikely event that an Equinix data center is down due to storm surge, flooding, and/or any other related damage, ETHERFAX will failover to its redundant site in Toronto Canada within 15 minutes.

The ETHERFAX and Equinix teams will constantly monitor the infrastructure, and provide email updates throughout the day.
