Well, here we are again – another HIMSS conference in the books, and this one marked my ninth year attending with the amazing ETHERFAX team. It’s been quite the journey, and HIMSS 2024 was another unforgettable experience.
To capture the essence of our journey, let’s take a look at where it all began. That first HIMSS in 2014 feels like a lifetime ago – a small team with big dreams, eager to make our mark on the healthcare industry. 
And now, fast forward to HIMSS 2024, and here we are – stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever before. The growth and transformation are undeniable, a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone on the ETHERFAX team.
From the moment we set foot on the show floor, the atmosphere was buzzing with exciting energy. It’s like a yearly reunion, reconnecting with familiar faces and forging new connections, all united by our shared passion for healthcare technology. And with this year’s theme of “Empowering Health through Technology,” it felt like ETHERFAX’s mission was more relevant than ever.
Reflecting on the evolution since my first HIMSS with ETHERFAX, it’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown. What started as a small team with big dreams has blossomed into a global leader in secure document transmission for healthcare. The journey has been filled with ups and downs, but every challenge has only made us stronger.
At HIMSS24, we pulled out all the stops, showcasing our latest innovations in workflow automation, AI, and exciting integrations with Hyland OnBase and Papercut. The booth was alive with activity as we shared demos, insights, and success stories with fellow attendees. It’s moments like these that remind me why I’m so proud to be a part of the ETHERFAX family – knowing that our work is making a real difference in healthcare delivery.
But HIMSS isn’t just about showing off our tech – it’s also about building relationships. Whether it was enjoying happy hour or friendly competition with our partners at Top Golf, the sense of camaraderie was palpable. And it’s these partnerships that will continue to drive us forward, shaping the future of healthcare technology.
As I look back on my journey with ETHERFAX, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunities we’ve had and excitement for what lies ahead. Each HIMSS has been a milestone, a chance to celebrate our progress and set new goals.
