With more than six million connected endpoints, ETHERFAX is the world’s largest fax network, supporting every major fax server, application and fax-enabled device. The ETHERFAX partner network continues to grow and evolve to strengthen platform-agnostic document delivery to and from fax providers, fax servers, EMRs, EHRs, and healthcare information exchanges.
As a leader in global imaging solutions, Lexmark is committed to providing its customers with the best quality and service. In 2018, Lexmark extended their solutions to the ETHERFAX network in the cloud to ensure customers could securely exchange rich content documents with ultra–fast transmission speeds and guaranteed delivery.
We’re proud to provide Lexmark with 100 percent secure, encrypted communications through the ETHERFAX Secure Exchange Network (SEN) and ETHERFAX SENx. ETHERFAX SEN is HIPAA compliant, PCI DSS compliant, and SOC 2 compliant. All communications are strongly secured between the remote client site and the ETHERFAX network and black and white lists place further restrictions on the flow of information.
ETHERFAX SENx utilizes methods defined by the Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES) to encrypt information from the moment it leaves the Lexmark sending device or application until it is accepted and validated by the receiving party. Best of all, each Lexmark device can receive thousands of documents simultaneously on the ETHERFAX network which guarantees that a sender never experiences a busy signal.
Redefining Fax Communications
Since 2009, ETHERFAX has developed innovative solutions that change the way enterprise organizations send and receive information. While traditional fax transmissions such as VOIP are hampered by limitations associated with PSTN and telephony infrastructure at analog modem speeds, ETHERFAX offers a more effective approach to secure document delivery via fax. By leveraging the cloud and delivering all secure faxes in the network via HTTPS, outdated fax boards, media gateways, the complex telephony stack, and busy signals are eliminated.
In addition to our core services, ETHERFAX toolkits and application programming interfaces (APIs) are available which allow system and application developers to rapidly integrate their applications with the ETHERFAX network enabling secure document delivery.
The ETHERFAX ecosystem will continue to expand with new partnerships to provide customers with the most robust document delivery solution.
