Holmdel, New Jersey (April 25, 2017) – ETHERFAX today announced the release of its Next Generation Analog-to-ETHERFAX (A2E) device enabling an easy transition to an IP-based infrastructure. As a plug-and-play, analog telephony adapter device, the ETHERFAX Next Generation A2E allows faxes to be sent and received via the cloud instead of the traditional Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
New features include the ability to print in-bound jobs, handle multiple inbound calls simultaneously, and send delivery confirmations to printers. The ETHERFAX Next Generation A2E also offers a class 2.1 modem, V34 and ECM capabilities.
The ETHERFAX Next Generation A2E device supports the ETHERFAX Secure Exchange Network (SEN), leveraging military-grade encryption and hybrid cloud technology to provide 100% secure communications within healthcare, finance, legal and enterprise organizations. ETHERFAX SEN is both HIPAA compliant and PCI DSS compliant. The combination of ETHERFAX Next Generation A2E and ETHERFAX SEN ensures secure transmission and delivery of unstructured data.
“With the ETHERFAX Next Generation A2E device, users will never experience a busy in-bound signal,” Paul Banco, CEO of ETHERFAX said. “Organizations transitioning to IP-based networks need a cost-effective solution that works and can be easily installed to integrate existing fax machines. The device allows organizations to utilize existing IT infrastructure and eliminate the cost and maintenance of fax lines.”
Through its infrastructure as a service (IaaS) model, ETHERFAX leverages a vast array of virtual ports, enabling the availability to send and receive high volumes of fax transmissions while removing the need for costly telephony infrastructure. The ability to integrate with all leading fax servers, fax-enabled applications, multi-function devices and fax machines allows for fast and easy configuration.
