ETHERFAX at HIMSS16

Mar 01, 2016

We are excited to announce our presence at HIMSS 2016 in Las Vegas! This year at HIMSS we are showcasing our secure document delivery solutions for healthcare organizations. Securely transmitting unstructured data is one of the most important issues that Health IT professionals face today, and we are tackling the issue head-on.

IDG recently stated that 83 percent of IT professionals said structured data initiatives were a high priority at their organizations, compared with 43 percent who viewed projects involving unstructured data as a top priority.

Unstructured data is clinically important data recorded on behalf of patients for diagnostics and clinical purposes, such as medical notes, authorizations and other patient health information (PHI). We are able to leverage the cloud to securely transport unstructured data for healthcare organizations.

Organizations can create their own fax network with the ETHERFAX Secure Exchange Network (SEN) as well as connect to our other customers utilizing ETHERFAX SEN as the backbone to securely deliver business-critical information. ETHERFAX SEN offers speed, performance and reliability without compromising security.

We solve several major problems for our healthcare customers – compliance, secure transmission of unstructured data, interoperability issues and costly maintenance of telephony infrastructure.

Our HIMSS announcements:

We have integrated Xerox ConnectKey technology to cloud-enable copiers and multifunction printers (MFPs) and support advanced document types. This integration is Fax-to-Direct enabled and allows organizations to leverage cloud transport to send business-critical documents with ultra-fast connections, end-to-end encryption and guaranteed delivery. At HIMSS, we are showcasing Xerox ConnectKey’s compatibility with ETHERFAX.

Biscom Fax Server now supports the ETHERFAX technology giving enterprises a flexible and scalable network to send and receive fax documents via the Internet. The partnership supports Fax-to-Direct, allowing healthcare organizations to transmit documents and data securely, utilizing end-to-end encryption.

For the second time, we have collaborated with MultiTech to leverage ETHERFAX to cloud-enable the MultiTech FaxFinder fax server solution. This integration enables healthcare organizations to send and receive fax documents via the Internet with end-to-end encryption and guaranteed delivery.

We joined with more than a dozen companies to create the Fax Federation, the world’s largest fax network to securely transmit data. The collaboration offers a secure, platform-agnostic document delivery network that can transport all types of documents to and from fax servers, devices, EMRs, EHRs, and healthcare information exchanges.

We can secure unstructured data for healthcare organizations.

Visit us at HIMSS16. We can connect with you to learn more about your network security needs regarding the transmission of unstructured data between EMRs, EHRs, and HIEs.

Come see us at Booth #12247.

We are always looking to connect with other network security providers and Health IT professionals. If you’re going to be at HIMSS this year, let us know and we’ll be sure to look for you at the show.
