ETHERFAX Achieves PCI-DSS Level 1 Certification

Jul 29, 2014

We are pleased to report that ETHERFAX has now achieved PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 Certification in Canada and the US. In order to further validate our multi-level encryption and security capabilities, in May we started the process of acquiring PCI Compliance. The certification requires that we regularly monitor and test all vulnerabilities in our secure network.

PCI DSS is an information security standard created to increase controls around cardholder data. Compliance with this standard helps to reduce credit card fraud, and is validated annually though a Quality Security Assessor (QSA).

We had engaged TrustWave, a leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance solutions, to help verify that our infrastructure adheres to the proper guidelines required for secure fax communications.

ETHERFAX is thrilled to have achieved the highest level of PCI-DSS security. This certification of PCI level 1 for providers further helps to ensure the guaranteed secure delivery of data and fax communications for enterprise and healthcare organizations through ETHERFAX.
