Debrief on HIMSS

Mar 06, 2014

We had a great experience at HIMSS and learned how healthcare enterprises and the partners that support them are embracing the cloud and mobile technologies to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and ultimately deliver better services to patients.

Given the radical changes in the healthcare marketplace, secure data transport and HIPAA-compliance still remain primary concerns for the entire ecosystem. Fax remains a critical component and organizations are finding new ways to integrate it into existing EMRs, applications and processes.

Having met with dozens of healthcare companies and developers in Orlando, our ETHERFAX platform is well-positioned to power a new level of fax-enabled applications that take advantage of the cloud, all without disrupting the user experience.

It is exciting to see how our partners, such as Integra LTC Solutions, LLC and Goodale Systems are integrating ETHERFAX into their service offerings to address the needs of their healthcare clients:

Integra is utilizing ETHERFAX to power its fax services suite including the Integra Cloud Fax Service (ICFS) and Integra Fax DR. These solutions provide the institutional pharmacy marketplace with cloud fax options for Integra’s DocuTrack customer base.

Goodale is helping Independent Physician Associations (IPA) and Managed Service Organizations (MSO) to securely manage, distribute and share information between insurance providers and medical groups.

The healthcare market is a primary focus for ETHERFAX and we look forward to launching several new solutions this year that provide point-to-point secure data transport, guaranteed delivery, reporting and compliance.

Stay tuned…
